LCIS Playground Palooza set for Saturday

FAYETTEVILLE – The Lawrence County Independent Schools Playground Palooza will kick off Saturday with a Pancake Breakfast from 8:00 a.m until 10:00 a.m.

In addition, a ” Run For the Playground ” 5K will start at 8:00 a.m.

Several vendors will be on hand to sell products from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The vendors include: Farmhouse Charm Boutique, Pampered Chef, Madelyn’s Marvelous, $5 Paparazzi, Celebrations Ice Cream Truck, Color Street Nails, Tupperware, Hoover’s Candy, Backyard Crafts by Betty, Pookies Craft Shack, Tastefully Simple Jewelry by Lori Hall, Buddy’s BBQ, and Catering, 3 J Creations, Refined Hiefer Designs, Norwex, Hardin Photography, STEAM 4- H Club, and other crafters.

A Cobbler Bench will sell homemade cobblers.

A cornhole tournament will begin held at 10:00 a.m. There is a $30 entry fee with with winner claiming a $100 prize.

Proceeds will be used to purchase playground equipment at LCIS. Not only will the equipment be used for school purposes but the whole community can enjoy it.
