  • 9:31 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 2800 block of Old US 50 East. The caller reported the neighbor’s two pit bulls were fighting and one killed the other and no parents are home. Only a 15-year-old is at the home and the caller wants an officer to check on the boy. The boy says he let the two dogs out and they got into a fight. He was able to get one dog locked into a room. The other dog was seriously hurt. The parents were alerted and would get the dog medical attention
