INDIANAPOLIS – In partnership with the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, the Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites invite you to celebrate Juneteenth – which commemorates the ending of slavery in the United States – with free admission (excluding New Harmony) and the Eiteljorg Museum.

At the Indiana State Museum, enjoy live performances from spoken word artist Januarie York at 10:30 a.m. and musical group StoryTeller’s Drum at 1 p.m.. See a live painting with JayAmi Sellers, participate in a collaborative mural, create activist buttons, and more.
Food trucks will be outside the Washington Street entrance from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
