BEDFORD – Bedford Housing Authority is taking applications for its 1-3 bedroom Section 8 Waiting Lists. Eligible applicants may pick up a pre-application at the of the Hauck House Apartments, located at 1305 K Street in Bedford.
The Section 8 HCV program is available to income-eligible individuals and families who need help with rent payments to provide decent, affordable, sanitary, and safe housing within the vicinity of Bedford.
Bedford Housing Authority also invites landlords in the area to come to the office for more information on the Section 8 Program. The BHA is always looking for new housing opportunities with landlords in the Bedford area. One-bedroom apartments are especially needed in the area at this time.
Individuals may stop in during business hours Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. The office is closed from noon until 1 p.m. for lunch. The office is open Fridays from 7:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m.
