LOOGOOTEE – A Loogootee man was arrested on a Level 4 felony charge of child molesting after an Indiana State Police investigation in Martin County.
During the investigation, the ISP detective found probable cause to arrest 20-year-old Gage Lechner, of Loogootee, after he allegedly committed sexual acts with a child under 14 years of age.
On Friday, a warrant was issued for the arrest of Lechner, Friday evening, Deputies with the Daviess and Martin County Sheriff’s Department located Lechner in the Alfordsville area. He was arrested without incident and was incarcerated at the Martin County jail where he is being held without bond.
