WASHINGTON – Lena Dunn Elementary will be recognized today as a National Kids at Hope Model School.
The event will be today at 2 p.m. The event will be streamed live from the Washington Community Schools Facebook page.
Lena Dunn is the first in Indiana to receive this recognition.
Kids at Hope is a system that seeks to transform schools and organizations serving youth where all children experience success with no exceptions.
The Lena Dunn Elementary staff have achieved this through creating strategies and programming highlighted with optimism and high expectations for all students.
