Monroe County Health Dept. offering two COVID 19 vaccination clinics

BLOOMINGTON – The Monroe County Health Department will offer two “pop-up” vaccination clinics, in Bloomington.

The first will be at the Crestmont Boys and Girls Club on May 6 from 12:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.

The second is scheduled for June 7th for the second administration of the vaccine. The clinic will be held at the Monroe Convention Center at Noon.

These clinics are focused on the Spanish-speaking populations but anyone can sign up if they haven’t been vaccinated.

More information on the clinics will be made available in the coming days.

Forty-seven percent of the county’s vaccine-eligible population – those 16 and older – has received at least one dose.

You can also receive a vaccination at the clinic at Simon Skjodt Assembly Hall at 1001 East 17th Street in Bloomington. This clinic will be open through the summer and into next fall.
