  • 9:57 p.m. Traffic stop at 16th Street and Clinic Drive

Accidents – April 26

  • 4:11 p.m. Property damage accident with a vehicle leaving the scene in the 1420 block of L Street. A male was arrested
  • 3:45 p.m. Property damage accident in the Wendy’s parking lot
  • 3:13 p.m. Property damage accident at Bedford North Lawrence High School. The sheriff’s Department was alerted

  • 2:05 p.m. Domestic fight in the 180 block of North Lafayette Avenue in Oolitic
  • 2:08 p.m. Phone call reporting a protective order violation. No address was listed on the log
  • 2:24 p.m. A resident in the 250 block of Rabbitsville Road reported finding a syringe in her yard
  • 2:50 p.m. Report of a basket of laundry in the middle of the roadway on State Road 37, south of State Road 60 East

  • 6:31 p.m. Report of some bones and clothing found in the 90-degree curve near Tolliver Cemetery Road at the edge of the water. The items were collected

  • 7:20 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at Meridian Street, east of Oolitic. Men were selling meat from a truck
  • 7:22 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 130 block of Lost Lane
  • 8:20 p.m. Citizen assist in the 110 block of Ridge Road. A male caller was flagged down by another male and asked him to call the police. The caller was unsure what was going on and the other male is possibly on drugs
  • 9:14 p.m. Report of a suspicious vehicle in the 3020 block of Old Vincennes Road
  • 11:49 p.m. Follow up investigation at Mitchell Police Department

Incidents – April 27

  • 1:06 a.m. Report of shots fired at Williams Dam. The person is in a black jeep. Another person reported the shots came from a black Mustang but also said it could have been the vehicle backfiring
  • 3:05 a.m. Officers made extra patrols on State Road 446
