Year-long facebook dispute leads to second arrest

BEDFORD – A Bedford woman was arrested on a warrant on a charge of criminal mischief after a fight at Golden Corral.

Bedford police officers arrested 27-year-old Tori Bullock, of 79 Fayetteville Coxton Rd., on a warrant charging her with criminal mischief on Monday. Stewart was arrested Sunday.

According to a probable cause affidavit, on February 25, 2021, the owner of Golden Corral called police saying he wanted to pursue charges against two customers who got into a fight at the establishment and caused damage.

The owner of the restaurant told police the two people fighting had damaged one of the sections of the buffet sneeze guard and he had to reimburse the cost of six meals to other customers for a total cost of $375 and due to the damage, he wanted to pursue charges.

On February 23, 2021, Bedford Police Department dispatch received a 911 call reporting a fight at Golden Corral. The caller told police the individuals involved were breaking things.

When police arrived they discovered Ashlee Stewart and Tori Bullock involved in a fight.

Bullock told police that she and Stewart had been fighting on Facebook over the last year and they settled it today.

Bullock told police Stewart punched her in the face and she fought back.

Stewart told police she couldn’t remember what happened.

Neither women wanted to press charges.

Police received a Facebook video showing the two women fighting inside of Golden Corral near the buffet area.

In the video you can see employees attempting to intervene and separate the two women. The person recording the video is heard saying, “aw, I didn’t get the glass breaking”.

The information was forwarded to the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s Office and warrants were issued for Bullock’s and Stewart’s arrest on a charge of criminal mischief.
