BLOOMINGTON – Congratulations to Bloomington High School South Boys Basketball Head Coach JR Holmes for being named the 2021 National Basketball Coaches Association’s High School Coach of the Year.
He will receive his award on Friday, April 2, during the virtual AT&T NABC Guardians of the Game Awards Show, which begins at 6:30 pm (EDT). You can watch the presentation by clicking here.
Since the award ceremony is done virtually this year, Holmes taped a short acceptance speech and also sent in testimonial videos, including one from South principal Mark Fletcher.
