BROWN/MORGAN/JOHNSON CO. – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor E&B Paving Inc. plans to begin preliminary work this week prior to patching, milling, and paving along State Road 135 between Bargersville and Nashville.
Traffic restrictions will be minimal to start but will transition to lane closures with flagging once patching gets underway in mid-April.
Work will take place on two sections of S.R. 135:
- Between Ridgeway Drive in Nashville and Indian Creek in Morgantown
- Between S.R. 252 in Trafalgar and S.R. 144 in Bargersville
The $4.8 million contract was awarded in November 2020 and is expected to be complete by late August of this year. Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
