Woman arrested after found passed out in a vehicle

BEDFORD – A Medora woman was arrested early Friday morning, after a Bedford Police officer was requested to do a welfare check on a woman who had not returned from Walmart.

Kimberly Goen

The caller told police his fiancee 30-year-old Kimberly Goen, had left the house between 10:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. in the 710 block of T Street and had not returned.

The caller told police she was driving a black Ford F-150.

Officers went to Walmart and found the vehicle. When officers approached the vehicle they found Goen slumped over in the driver’s seat.

There was a glass smoking pipe with meth residue in plain view.

The officer knocked on the window to get Goen’s attention. She woke and frantically began reaching around in the passenger seat.

Goen told police she was “stressed out” and decided to get out of the house because she needed a break from taking care of her children.

In the cup holder police found a pouch that contained a baggy of crystal meth.

Goen was arrested on charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
