MARTIN CO – On Monday, a Martin County Sheriff’s Department deputy stopped a Silver Chevy Equinox for an equipment violation.
Canine Spike alerted officers to possible drugs in the vehicle.
Officers with Martin County Sheriff’s Department and Loogootee Police Department searched the vehicle and located approximately 1.6 grams of crystal meth, several pills, marijuana, syringes, and drug paraphernalia.
Officers arrested the following:
- Kendra Burton, 19, Washington, possession of meth, possession of a Schedule III controlled substance, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia
- Michael Heuser, 26, Washington, possession of meth and unlawful possession of a syringe
- Carol E. Brock, 27, Odon, maintaining a common nuisance and possession of marijuana
- Damon B. Meek 28, Branchville, unlawful possession of a syringe and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance
