Phyllis J. Lipscomb age 80 of Heltonville passed away on Monday, February
15, 2021 at 8:40 p.m.at Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown.
She was born in Lawrence County on October 23, 1940, to Carl and Betty Overly. Phyllis married David Lipscomb on June 1, 1962, at the Heltonville Baptist Church and he survives. She was a homemaker and member of the
Bartlesville Christian Church.
Survivors include her husband, David Lipscomb of Heltonville, two sons,
Brian Lipscomb of Seymour, and Robert (Jessyka) Lipscomb of Bedford,
one sister, Debbie Leitchfield of Bedford, four grandchildren, Michael
Lipscomb, Seth Lipscomb, Ethan Lipscomb, and Amber (Brandon) Soto,
Five great-grandchildren, Aiden Lipscomb, Jackson Lipscomb, Alexis Soto,
Taylor Soto, and William Mitchell
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Rita Williams, and step-
father, George Hunter
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Bartlettsville Christian Church, burial will be in Gilgal Cemetery in
Heltonville at a later date.
Cresthaven Funeral Home is entrusted with her care.
