Two Teen Fatalities in Orange County Crash

(ORANGE CO.) – Two juveniles were killed in an accident Sunday on County Road 500 North.

The accident was reported at 8:20 p.m.

According to an Indiana State Police report, a 2006 Pontiac was traveling westbound on County Road 500 North when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle went off the south side of the roadway and flipped multiple times before landing on its roof in a field.

Police say there were four juveniles in the vehicle. Two died at the scene. The other two were transported by ambulances to local hospitals for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation. The names of those involved are not being released at this time.

Assisting at the scene were, deputies with Orange County Sheriff’s Office, officers with the Paoli Police Department, and Orleans Police Departments Orange Country Rural Distract 2 Volunteer Fire Department first responders, and an IU Health Hospital ambulance crew.
