(BEDFORD) – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at State Road 58 and State Road 37 on Wednesday afternoon.
According to a Bedford Police report, 38-year-old C.D. Barnett, of Bedford, was traveling north on State Road 37 in a 2008 Ford F-250 and was attempting to turn east on State Road 58.
At the same time, 48-year-old Forrest Keach, of Scottsburg, in a 2014 Kenworth semi-tractor trailer was traveling west on State Road 58 and was attempting to turn north on State Road 37.
Police say Barnett was traveling too fast for weather conditions and was unable to turn and struck the semi at a right angle.
Keach complained of back pain and was transported by an officer to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
Barnett complained of knee and lower foot pain and was transported by an ambulance to a local hospital.
