(SOUTHEASTERN IND.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation Southeast District has issued a partial full call-out of plow trucks ahead of incoming winter weather.
According to the National Weather Service up to two inches of snow and wintry mix is possible near Columbus, Greensburg and areas east along I-74. Locations to the south may see an inch or less.
Drivers will report around 3 p.m. to begin patrolling and treating state routes. Crews will remain active through Saturday evening when snow is expected to transition to rain. Additional patrols will begin after midnight if needed.
- Aurora Sub District: 29 trucks
- Columbus Sub District: 27 trucks
- Madison Sub District: 10 trucks
- Bloomington Sub District: 23 trucks
