Obituary: Rhea Denice (Beasley) Wilson


October 4, 1968-December 19, 2020


Rhea D. (Beasley) Wilson, 52, of Bedford, passed away at 6:30 pm on Saturday, December 19, 2020, at her residence.


Born October 4, 1968, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Charles Beasley and Connie L. (Conley) Crosby.


She married Kreg Wilson. Rhea had worked as a customer service rep for Beasley Produce, and Sunrise Greeting Cards, and was the owner and operator for The Breakfast Barn in Bedford for many years.


Survivors include: her sister, Thea Beasley of Bedford; a brother, Brian Beasley of Williams; her stepfather, Dr. Reid Crosby of Bedford; her father and stepmother Charles and Marge Beasley of Naples, FL; three stepbrothers: Eric, Cort, and Clipp Crosby and their families; three nephews: Damon, Joel, and Tanner; a niece, Shelby Allen-Davis; two great-nieces: Payton Hale, and Vayla Beasley; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, her grandparents: Pat and Grace Conley, and Agnes Beasley, as well as several aunts, uncles, and cousins.


Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 22, 2020, in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary.

Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until the hour of service on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Lawrence County Cancer Patient Services. Family and friends may express condolences at www.daycarter.com.


In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks and social distancing are required. Attendance is limited to 50 people at a time.
