(BEDFORD) – Lawrence County Health Officer Dr. Alan Smith M.D. has extended an order to prevent visitation to long-term care and assisted living facilities in Lawrence County.
The extension will begin on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 and end on Thursday, December 17, 2020.
This order is for the protection of residents at long-term care and assisted living facilities.
The order is in response to an increase in positive cases of COVID-19 in Lawrence County.
The order could be extended if COVID-19 cases continue to increase in Lawrence County.
