Lowell D. Baker, 77 of Martin County passed away on Wednesday
December 2, 2020, at 6:24 p.m. at his residence.
He was born in Colson, Kentucky on July 25, 1943 to Dewey Baker and Alpha (Diamond) Baker. Lowell was a retired Fork Lift Operator at the Indiana Limestone Company and was a member of the Oolitic Patriot Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include two children, Lisa Baker Powers of Evansville, and
Dewey (Karen) Baker of Mitchell, two step-daughters, Vicky Jennings of
Paoli and Kimberly Crawley of Chrisney, thee sisters, Jewell Miles of
Michigan, Dana Gammon of Shoals, and Billie Ball of Eckerty, one brother,
Randall Baker of Huntingburg, half-sister, Freida Hutchens of Oolitic.
Lowell was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Lynn K. (Spurlock)
Baker, one sister, Carol Triplett
Cremation with no services was chosen.
Cresthaven Funeral Home was entrusted with his care.
