(HELTONVILLE) – No one was injured when a vehicle struck a tractor on State Road 446 on Wednesday afternoon.

According to a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department report, 70-year-old Brenda Weddell, of Seymour, was traveling south on State Road 446 when a 200 John Deere tractor driven by 71-year-old Lynn Manzenberger, of Heltonville, crossed the highway from a field to enter another field.

Weddell’s 2020 Subaru Legacy struck the bush hog causing the tractor to spin off the roadway.
Neither drivers were injured, but there was extensive damage to Weddell’s car.
