(LOOGOOTEE) – Two people were arrested on drug charges Saturday after a Martin County Sheriff’s Department deputy smelled the odor of burnt marijuana while he was on foot patrol in Loogootee.
Police found 28-year-old Travis Salmon, of Loogootee, and 29-year-old Kacrissa Lintz, of Williams, in a parked vehicle in an alley.
When the officer inquired about the odor, Salmon gave the officer a bag of marijuana and a burnt marijuana cigarette.
The officer then asked to search the vehicle. During that search the officer found methamphetamine.
Both Salmon and Lintz were arrested on charges of possession of meth and marijuana.
