Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton Joins Community Leaders For Weekly Press Call On COVID-19 Response

(BLOOMINGTON) – Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton joins other community leaders in a weekly Zoom conference call today today from 1:15 p.m. until 2 p.m. to share the most recent developments in the coordinated local effort to mitigate and manage the COVID-19 crisis.

Joining Mayor Hamilton on today’s call will be Monroe County Board of Commissioners’ President Julie Thomas, IU Health South Central Region President Brian Shockney, Monroe County Health Department Administrator Penny Caudill, Monroe County Emergency Management Director Allison Moore, and Indiana University Assistant Vice President for Strategic Partnerships and IUB COVID Response Unit (CRU) Lead Kirk White.  

Press briefings from the governmental and institutional bodies coordinating the local response to the COVID-19 pandemic will continue weekly on Fridays from 1:15 p.m. until 2 p.m. 

Barring technical difficulties, the conference will be available via live stream at the City of Bloomington Facebook  page, where the public can pose questions that may be relayed to the panelists if time allows.
