(MITCHELL) – Two people were injured in a one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on Kings Ridge Road.
According to a Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department police report, the accident was reported at 1:37 p.m. on Kings Ridge Road near Sorrells Road.
Police say 17-year-old Kelsey Henderson, of Williams, was traveling west on Kings Ridge Road in a 2003 Buick Rendezvous and entered a curve when the vehicle ran off the west side of the road.
Henderson suffered a possible fracture or dislocated her elbow and arm. Her passenger Landyn Adcock, of 791 State Road 158 was also injured. Both were taken by ambulance to IU Health Hospital for treatment.
