(BEDFORD) – A Bedford teen was issued a summons to appear in court after officers were called to the 1700 block of 25th Street about a juvenile problem.
“Officers arrived and spoke with the mother of a thirteen-year-old male who stated that her son had consumed alcohol at a different location.,” said Chief Terry Moore. “Officers spoke with the juvenile and confirmed with a PBT (portable breath test) that he was positive for alcohol.”
Juvenile Probation was contacted and they requested the mother sign a promise to appear in court summons on a charge of minor in possession of alcohol and the teen was released to his mother.
