Update: Mitchell Police Make Drug Arrests

(MITCHELL) – On Thursday, the Mitchell Police Department executed a search warrant that was obtained through the Lawrence County Prosecutor’s office for a home located in the 300 block of West Oak Street.

Mitchell Police officers located several illegal items including narcotics, paraphernalia, two handguns, pills, and methamphetamine.

“We would like to remind everyone that we work tirelessly to rid our community of this type of poison and if you are bringing drugs to our community to use or sell, we will ensure you get a free trip to the Lawrence County Jail,” said Ryan Duckett of the Mitchell Police Department.

Toby Livingston, 31, Mitchell, possession of meth, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of a legend drug, enhancing circumstances.

In addition to this arrest, the following people were arrested during separate traffic stops over the weekend:

  • Sabrina L. Heitke, 34, Bedford, possession of meth, possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana
  • Mark Phillips, 39, Springville, possession of meth, possession of paraphernalia
  • Nicole Hayden, 48, possession of marijuana, possession of meth, possession of cocaine, possession of paraphernalia

All four were taken to the Lawrence County Jail.
