(SEYMOUR) – The Seymour Police Department welcomes its newest police officer Gabe Jordan.
Jordan was in the department’s Dispatch Division before becoming a police officer.
The Seymour Police Department recently also went through a hiring process on Saturday, September 19, 2020.
The testing process on September 19th had more than 100 applicants. Of those 70 attended the physical agility test, with 58 passing. Of those 57 of them took the written examination.
The Seymour Police Department is waiting on the results of that written test and those that pass will continue on to the interview process.
The Seymour Police Department hires new officers annually and encourages anyone wishing to join the police department to submit an application at any time and work towards the 2021 process next fall.
