  • 1:50 a.m. Toby Garrison, 19, 515 N. Jackson St., battery with bodily waste, possession of  a firearm by a felon, resisting arrest, possession of a handgun without a license, illegal consumption

  • 4:42 p.m. Marvin Hill 39, Medora, was issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of driving while driver’s license suspended with a prior conviction

  • 5:14 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 510 block of Hammersly Lane. The female was fine
  • 7:18 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:25 a.m. Request for animal control in the 20 block of Mystic Lake Road. The neighbor’s dog is running loose and is being aggressive to the caller’s dog
  • 7:36 a.m. A person was on station about a protective order violation
  • 8:44 a.m. Controlled fire in the 530 block of Old State Road 37 North
  • 9:31 a.m. Traffic stop at Mitchell Road at M&E Honda
  • 9:41 a.m. Request for animal control in the 140 block of Dale Street for a dog running loose
  • 9:45 a.m. 911 call in the 80 block of Meadowview Estates. It was a child using the phone. It was an accidental call
  • 10:05 a.m. Request for a welfare check in the 620 block of West Main Street. The caller says her husband is being poisoned by his ex-wife. The male says he is fine
  • 11:08 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 60 West
  • 11:09 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2620 block of 27th Street
  • 11:23 a.m. Follow up investigation in the 1010 block of Grandview Lane
  • 12:08 p.m. A person was on station to report harassment in the 10 block of Guthrie Road
  • 12:12 p.m. A person was at the Mitchell Police Department to report a citizen dispute

  • 12:16 p.m. Medical emergency in the 800 block of 25th Street. A woman was suffering a possible blood clot in her leg
  • 12:17 p.m. Citizen assist in the first block of First Street in Mitchell
  • 12:27 p.m. A person was on station to report a sex offense
  • 1:56 p.m. Gunshots reported in the 2730 block of Maul Ridge Road. The caller stated he was in a minor accident and the other party involved stated he was trying to get a female passenger with a gunshot wound to the hospital and fled the scene. The vehicle that fled was a silver Ford Focus. The accident occurred at State Road 158 and Avoca Eureka Road, both vehicles were traveling eastbound. The caller says he was making a left turn onto Avoca Eureka Road when Phillip Deckard proceeded to pass in the westbound lane striking the other vehicle. IU Health notified police they were treating a woman with a gunshot wound to her stomach. Police responded to IU Health and Maul Ridge Road to secure the scene. The woman was flown to Methodist Hospital where she later passed away. Indiana State Police were called to process the scene at Maul Ridge Road. The vehicle was seized at IU Health and impounded

  • 3:45 p.m. Alarm sounding in the 6120 block of US 50 East. It was a false alarm
  • 4:02 p.m. Police made extra patrols in the 110 block of State Road 60 East

  • 4:30 p.m. Report of an erratic driver at State Road 37 and Trogdon Lane
