(HARDIN RIDGE) – A woman was found safe after a reported drowning near the Hardin Ridge Boat Ramp on Lake Monroe Saturday night.
The emergency call came in around 7:04 p.m. Saturday reporting a possible woman in the water who did not resurface. The incident took place near Pedigo Bay at Monroe Reservoir.
The woman ended up being taken to shore by another boater and was found safe.
Emergency personnel from Monroe Fire Protection District, Monroe County Sheriff’s Department Dive Team, Monroe County Sheriff’s Department, Indiana Conservations Department, and IU Health Ambulance responded to the incident.
