Salem Students Move To Virtual Learning

(SALEM ) – Superintendent of Salem Schools Jon Acton says Salem students moved to virtual learning.

With consultation from the Washington County Health Department and the Chief Medical Officer Dr. Morgan, Salem Community Schools made the decision to move to Remote Learning beginning today until September 4th.

This decision was based on positive staff and student COVID-19 tests impacting all three buildings of Salem Community Schools.

Action says this will allow officials to effectively mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

The plan is to return to “in person” instruction on Tuesday, September 8th following Labor Day weekend.
