(BEDFORD) – In a statement released early this afternoon by the North Lawrence Community Schools’ nursing staff, they say they are not aware of any current COVID-19 cases.
There were rumors circulating on social media, and according to officials, the school corporation has not been made aware of any positive cases of COVID-19 among students or staff.
The school corporation works with the NLCS staff and the Lawrence County Health Department in gathering the information as quickly as possible.
In the event a positive case was confirmed, NLCS will follow all necessary protocols to ensure the safety of their schools and community.
