(BEDFORD) – Bedford Police officers arrested 60-year-old David King on a charge of theft after he failed to pay for several items at the self-checkout register.
Officers were called to Walmart after a loss prevention employee watched King proceed to the self-checkout register and skip scanning several items and only pay for $16.69 worth of merchandise. King attempted to walk out of the store with $291.13 of merchandise he did not pay for.Â
King was issued a no trespass order from the store and issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of theft.
