Carolyn Sue Bundy, 76, passed away Friday, August 14, 2020, at her home.
Born April 28, 1944, in Muncie, she was the daughter of Geneva (Blanton) Ellis. She married Gerald Dean “Jerry” Bundy June 23, 1960, and he preceded her in death April 4, 2017.
Sue worked at Carpenter Body Works 19 years and retired from Dana Corporation. She attended River’s Edge Fellowship. Sue loved her dogs, Summer, Autumn, Spring, and Buddy.
Survivors include her children, Vivian (Russell) Blackwell of Mitchell, Kimberly Bundy of Mitchell, Edward Dean Bundy of Mitchell; grandchildren, Zachary (Niki) Blackwell, Joshua (Brea) Blackwell, Jacob (Ivy), Bundy, Tamara (Josh) Patton, and Jessica (Austin) Spain; 11 great-grandchildren, siblings, Helen Sharpe of Mitchell, Gary (Donna) Bell of Mitchell
Her parents; husband; daughter, Tammy Sue Smale; and brothers, Jerry Bell, Kenny Bell, and Larry Bell, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, at Mitchell Cemetery with Pastor Zach Blackwell officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. Tuesday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
