“As the officer caught up to the vehicle, he observed the driver disregard the red light at US 50 East and Tunnelton Road, therefore, stopped the vehicle at the entrance to Otis Park,” said Chief Terry Moore.

While speaking to the driver, 29-year-old Zane Grissom, the officer learned Grissom only had a learner’s permit.

Grissom gave the officer consent to search the vehicle. Officers found a syringe that tested positive for meth.

Grissom was then arrested.

“While searching Grissom officers located several individual baggies of a crystal substance that tested positive for methamphetamine,” said Chief Moore.

Grissom is facing charges of possession of meth, and unlawful possession of a syringe.
