James Wesley Bartlett, 74, of Mitchell, passed away Sunday, August 2, 2020, at Memorial Hospital and Health Care Center in Jasper.
Born August 31, 1945, in Mitchell, he was the son of Lester and Eva (Cox) Bartlett Carnes. He married Pamela Jean Reynolds June 24, 2005.
Jim retired from General Electric in 2002 with 32 years of service.
Survivors include his wife, Pamela Jean Bartlett of Mitchell; son, Casey (Darinda) Bartlett of Mitchell; sisters, Mary (Ed) Patterson of Elsberry, Missouri, Faye Bartlett of Hamilton, Ohio.
His parents and sister, Bessie Hopper, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 6, at Mitchell Cemetery with Deacon Dave Reising officiating.
Memorial gifts can be made in James’ memory to the White River Humane Society.
