(BARTHOLOMEW CO.) – Indiana Department of Transportation contractor Dave O’Mara Contractor Inc. plans to close State Road 58 on or after Wednesday, August 5, to complete two small structure replacements.
The road will close west of I-65 through late September between County Road 400 West and County Road 500 West in Bartholomew County.
The official detour will follow C.R. 450 S./Southern Crossing/C.R. 400 S. to U.S. 31 to U.S. 50 to S.R. 11 to S.R. 258. Local access will be maintained up to the point of closure. The $793,000 contract is expected to be complete by September 30, 2020.
Motorists should slow down, watch for stopped traffic, and drive distraction-free through all work zones. All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
