Jeannie M. Harris, 74 of Bedford passed away on Monday, July 20, 2020 at 5:30 p.m. at her residence.
She was born in Bedford on October 3, 1945, to Joseph and Gertrude Pearl (Danner) Nuest. Jeannie was a graduate of Business from Indiana Wesleyan
University, she was retired from NWSC Crane as a voucher examiner, and as a background investigator with USIS, she was the former Guthrie Township Trustee. She was a member of the Fort Ritner Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Kimberly (Don) Martindale of Indianapolis, and Rachelle (Dwayne) Allman of Medora, two sons, Richard Harris of Bedford and Jamie Joe (Angie) Harris of Keystone Heights, Florida, five grandchildren, Bailey Wilson, Natalie Chevalier, Joshua Harris, Tucker Brewer, and Dakoda Harris, three great-grandchildren, Zayden Glenn, Halle Rose Harris, and Aiyana Grace Brewer, one brother Joe Nuest of Colorado and one sister Ada Lundy of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 23, 2020, at 10:30 a.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home, with Bro. Kenny Dalton, officiating, entombment will follow in Cresthaven Memory Gardens. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Cresthaven Funeral Home.
