(BLOOMINGTON) – A traffic accident at State Road 37 and Victor Pike involving a dump truck and a jeep on Saturday afternoon remains under investigation.
The accident was reported at 1:36 p.m., with victims in both vehicles trapped within their vehicles. Both patients suffered serious injuries and were transported to the hospital for treatment.
The accident investigation as well as clean-up of the accident scene took several hours.
Monroe County Sheriff’s Departement, Monroe Fire Protection District, and IU Health Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
