Bloomington City Council Public Safety Committee Will Meet Thursday Virtually

(BLOOMINGTON) – A virtual meeting of the Bloomington Common Council’s Public Safety Committee will occur Thursday, June 18 at 7 p.m. (accessible via https://bloomington.zoom.us/j/93540977607).  

Bloomington residents have been actively calling for an examination of local police practices and guidelines, as well as how to further goals of racial justice and investment in community services. The Common Council’s Public Safety Committee welcomes community feedback and input on these issues.

The purpose of this virtual meeting is to allow the Committee to discuss and hear about issues of community policing. The committee is particularly interested in hearing comments from members of the public on this topic. Members of the public may join the meeting via Zoom video conference starting at 7 p.m.  Details for joining the meeting are as follows:
