Jiffy Lube Development Plan Moves On To Public Hearing

(BEDFORD) – Jiffy Lube plans to construct an oil change service facility located within the Williams Crossing Development on John Williams Boulevard.

A proposed Jiffy Lube is planned in the Williams Crossing Development

The area is zoned B-3 but must be approved for a special exception because it is an auto sales or service business. This means a public meeting will be held.

The 3,400 sq. ft facility will offer oil change service as well as tire rotation, and minor repair work such as windshield wiper changes.

In other business, the board tabled a request from Laura and Joseph George on a minor subdivision at 30th Street and Washington Avenue. During the public comment period, Kevin Rach, who resides on Washington Avenue, questioned the need to subdivide that property when the zoning will remain the same at R-3.

The proposed minor-subdivision located at 30th Street and Washington Avenue was tabled.

In addition, plan commission members are questioning why the George’s are putting in the request when the property is not owned by them but instead by Nancy Ragsdale.
