  • 5:48 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 58
  • 7:17 a.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 at Needmore School
  • 8:41 a.m. Medical emergency in the 1640 block of Guthrie Road. An 89-year-old female fell and injured her back, leg and shoulder
  • 8:41 a.m. Report that a couple was rolling around on the ground in the 100 block of West Main Street. There was two combative male at the scene. A taser was deployed. A Male was transported to IU Health Hospital. 
  • 9:10 a.m. Request for animal control to the 60 block of Valley Mission Lane
  • 9:10 a.m. Request for animal control to the 330 block of Preston Lane
  • 11:23 a.m. Medical emergency in the 2300 block of 30th Street. A 74-year-old female was suffering from chest pains. The female was transported by IU Health Hospital ambulance to IU Bloomington Hospital
  • 11:30 a.m. A person was on station about a protective order violation
  • 12:13 p.m. A person was on station to report harassment in the 170 block of Old Farm Road
  • 12:19 p.m. Report of a fire in the 170 block of Cherry View Lane. Huron VFD responded. It was a controlled fire
  • 1 p.m. 911 call at Deep Cut Lake Road. The caller was needing assistance with traffic control. Martin County Sheriff’s Department was alerted
  • 1:40 p.m. Citizen assist in the 1620 block of Hancock Avenue
  • 1:50 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the Tunnelton area
  • 2:23 p.m. Request for animal control to the 180 block of Greer Lane
  • 2:24 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 4920 block of State Road 37. A child called his aunt and said his mom was banging her head on the car and he was scared. The child was okay. The female was found passed out on the couch. The aunt took the child

  • 2:46 p.m. Warrant service in the 6290 block of State Road 58 East. The person no longer lives there
  • 2:56 p.m. Medical emergency in the 570 block of Yockey Road. An 80-year-old woman was ill
  • 3:18 p.m. Report that two people wearing hoodies entered a residence in the 320 block of West Warren Street
  • 3:30 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 80 block of Maddox Lane
  • 4:01 p.m. Medical emergency in the 220 block of Dale Street. A 65-year-old was ill
  • 4:21 p.m. Report of a burglary in the 520 block of North Jackson Street

  • 4:56 p.m. A female was on station to report a theft. He ex-fiance has been using her debit card to purchase items on Amazon

  • 8:20 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at Arby’s in Mitchell
  • 8:43 p.m. Report of vandalism in the 510 block of South Sixth Street in the alley. Someone busted out the windows of a truck. Police will make extra patrols

  • 9:05 p.m. Report of four juveniles walking around inside the house that burned at 7th and Oak streets in Mitchell

  • 1:33 a.m. Report of cattle in the roadway on East Grissom Road
  • 1:53 a.m. Traffic stop at April Sounds Addition and US 50 East
  • 2:41 a.m. 911 call requesting a welfare check on an elderly male  in the 2210 block of 27th Street
  • 3:12 a.m. Officers made extra patrols on Tunnelton Road
  • 3:12 a.m. Report of a suspicious male at the Marathon station on State Road 37
  • 3:24 a.m. Police made extra patrols on Maple Leaf Road

Accidents – May 13

  • 5:58 a.m. Car/deer accident in the 3410 block of US 50 West
  • 8:31 a.m. Property damage accident at State Road 60 East at Deer Run Road
  • 10:58 a.m. Property damage accident with a vehicle leaving the scene in the 500 block of Harrodsburg Road. The driver was located in the 1990 block of State Road 54 West and taken for a blood-drawl at IU Health Hospital
