Two Arrested on Drug Charges Monday Morning

(BEDFORD) – Two people were arrested early Monday morning after Bedford Police received information from the Paoli Police Department that they were looking for a vehicle involved in a robbery.

A Bedford Police officer found the vehicle parked at a local motel and later observed a male and female exit the motel room.

“While speaking with Slayton and Tisdel in front of their motel room officers noticed the odor of marijuana coming from the room,” says Chief Terry Moore. “A search warrant was requested and after receiving the warrant officers searched and located 64 grams of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.”

Police arrested Slayton and Tidel on charges of dealing marijuana, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Officers then notified the Paoli Police Department of the arrest.

“An officer with the Paoli Police Department arrived and transported Slayton and Tindle to their department to question them about the robbery,” said Chief Moore. “After the interview, they were transported back to our department for processing and then transported to jail.”
