Katherine M. Stigall, 97, of Bedford, passed away on Friday, April 24, 2020, at White River Lodge.
Born September 26, 1922, in Summerset, KY, she was the daughter of Steve and Molly (Tucker) Taylor. She married Ollie F. Stigall on September 19, 1938, and he preceded her in death on April 23, 1989. She was a homemaker and a pastor’s wife for over 50 years at Patton Hill Pentecostal Church. She currently attended Calvary Missionary Church in Washington, IN. She was a loving mother and grandmother.
Survivors include seven daughters, Shirley Staggs, Kay Williams, and Marilyn Hicks and husband, Robert, Betty Harris and husband, George, all of Bedford Sue Gregory and husband, Harold, of Oolitic, Delayna Allred and
husband, Dan, of Tunnelton, and Kim Roberts and husband, Bruce, of Springville; a son, Junior Stigall, and wife, Micah, of Bedford; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, Virgil and James Stigall; three sisters, Clara, Girtie, and Erlene; three grandchildren, Kevin Luttrell, Rhonda Sue Gregory, and Rebecca Jean Hicks; a great-grandchild, Mollie Dustin; two sons-in-law, Kenny Staggs and Rick Williams.
Private graveside services are scheduled with burial in the Patton Hill Cemetery.
