(BLOOMINGTON) – Bloomington Mayor John Hamilton joins other community leaders in a weekly Zoom conference call today from 1:15 to 2 p.m. (E.D.T.) to share the most recent developments in the coordinated effort to mitigate and manage the COVID-19 crisis and present an opportunity for media representatives to ask questions.
In addition to Mayor Hamilton, the virtual press conference will feature Monroe County Commissioner Julie Thomas, IU Health South Central Region President Brian Shockney, Monroe County Health Department Administrator Penny Caudill, Monroe County Emergency Management Director Allison Moore, and Indiana University Associate Vice President for Public Safety and Institutional Assurance Ben Hunter.
Press briefings from the governmental and institutional bodies coordinating Bloomington/Monroe County’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic will continue weekly on Fridays from 1:15 to 2 p.m.Â
