
(BEDFORD) – A Bedford man was arrested Thursday after Bedford Police officers were called to a home in the 1200 block of 17th Street for a possible overdose.
Officers arrived and located a family member outside with keys to the house.

“After entering the house officers located 32-year-old Jesse Spicer sitting on a couch unresponsive,” says Chief Terry Moore. “They also noticed several syringes, drug paraphernalia, prescription medication, and what later tested positive for heroin on a coffee table.”
While waiting on the ambulance to arrive officers were able to wake Spicer.Â
A short time later Spicer was checked by medical personnel but refused treatment.
Spicer was charged with of possession of a narcotic drug, unlawful possession of a syringe and possession of drug paraphernalia.
