Vera Nadine Dorsett, 87, of Bedford, passed away Sunday, April 19, 2020.
Born December 23, 1932, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter of Willard and Edna Mae (Turner) Thompson. She married Charles Dorsett on December 7, 1951, and he preceded her in death on March 16, 2019.
She was a homemaker, cake decorator, and an avid bowler.
Survivors include one daughter, Karen Tincher, and husband, Tom, of Bedford; one son, Randy Dorsett, and wife, Cindy, of Bedford; three grandchildren, Toby Tincher and wife, Marcy, Andy Dorsett and wife, Melissa, and Amber King and husband, Barry; seven great-grandchildren, Gavin, Aaliya and Zepher Tincher, Ava and Joel Dorsett, and Duncan and Elizabeth King; four nieces, Sherry, Janice, Tina, and Susie; one nephew, Jimmy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one sister, Wanda Taylor, and a nephew, Ricky.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, private graveside services are planned with burial in Cresthaven Memory Gardens.
