(BEDFORD) – The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for much of the area from 5 a.m. until 8 p.m. Monday.
Counties in the advisory area include Lawrence, Bartholomew, Brown, Daviess, Greene, Jackson, Martin, Monroe, and Morgan.
West winds will be 25 to 35 miles per hour with gusts up to 50 mph are expected and isolated wind gust up to 55 mph this morning.
The strongest wind gusts are expected to occur between 6 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects.
Tree limbs could be blown down and widespread power outages are possible.
Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high-profile vehicle.
