Question 1: What lessons did high school sports teach you?
Horton: High school sports taught me how to be a leader and make a difference on and off the field.
Question 2: What is your favorite softball memory?
Horton: My favorite memory was when we won the sectional.
Question 3: Can you describe your emotions after the season was cancelled?
Horton: When I heard they cancelled my senior season, I was heartbroken. My team and I have worked so hard during the off-season.
Question 4: What will you miss most about high school?
Horton: What I will miss most is walking through the halls, seeing all my friends and amazing teachers.
Question 5: When these social distancing restrictions are lifted, who’s the first person you want to see?
Horton: The first person I want to see is my papaw Chuck. I miss his silly jokes, and I would just want a big hug.
