(DAVIESS CO.) – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces lane closures for a bridge repair project Near Montgomery.
Beginning on or around Monday, April 6, contractors will close one lane one each of the two bridges spanning Prairie Creek just west of County Road South 800 East in Montgomery. During this operation, workers will rehabilitate both the approaches and the driving surface on both bridges.
Lane closures will be in place around the clock while the project is active. Traffic will be controlled by temporary signal and lanes will be restricted to 12-feet wide. Wider loads will need to seek an alternate route using the closest state, U.S. or interstate routes.
INDOT urges drivers to slow down and stay alert near crews.
