Bedford Man Arrested After Police Find Meth

(BEDFORD) – A Bedford man was arrested Monday morning after Bedford Police officers went to the Rosemount Motel to serve an arrest warrant.

Bedford Police Officers arrested 40-year-old James Langley on a warrant for petition to revoke.

“Officers arrived and spoke with an individual staying in the room number provided,” said Chief Terry Moore. “When asked about Langley he let officer inside where they found him sleeping.”

When Bedford Police officers entered the room they saw drug paraphernalia in plain view. 

“A search warrant was requested and the room was cleared,” said Chief Moore. “Officers located methamphetamine and a syringe.”

Langley was then arrested on additional charges of possession of meth, unlawful possession of a syringe, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
